Longtime friends turned business partners, Wioletta Wyszynski and Jaroslaw Radzimierski, both shared a vision to inspire the young generation to work hard and shine through dance. Thus VIVA Ballroom | Dance | Fitness opened its doors in 2008. In 2010, VIVA expanded its program to also include dance and fitness classes for adults.
What started out as an empty space with cracked floors and bare walls has grown to hold two beautiful, state of the art dance rooms complete with sound and lighting systems, mirrored walls and an impressive dance floor. VIVA’s instructors are professionally trained, qualified, and very dedicated to providing its students with the very best instruction.
VIVA is continuously growing and improving its facility to meet the needs of all of its dancers. For VIVA, it goes beyond teaching our dancers how to dance, but to guide them towards becoming stronger, more fulfilled, and successful individuals.

For starters, it is a lot of fun! Aside from fun, dancing has so much more to offer than just a good time. Exercise, stress relief, self-confidence, social poise, and a creative outlet are amongst the many benefits you can receive from dancing. We highly believe that Dance is the latest best stress relieving therapy! We also believe that Dance challenges children, teens, and adults to learn a new skill and expand their understanding of music and world cultures.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO BECOME A GOOD DANCER?
At the VIVA, we guarantee that you will quickly establish confidence with the basic steps of dancing. However, the longer you dance the better dancer you will become. As your dance education continues, you will engage in advanced steps and styling that will have you looking and feeling like the dancer you want to be!
WHY ARE DANCE UNIFORMS MANDATORY FOR THE CHILDREN?
We believe that as our students dress the part, they dance the part! A student wearing a T-shirt to Ballet, Ballroom, Latin, etc. prevents them from feeling confident as well as looking professional. A positive change in behavior has already been noticed due to enforcing our uniform policy! Having our students wear their proper uniforms for specific dance classes creates a positive and deliberate framework focused on accomplishment.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE MY APPOINTMENT?
We request 24h notice on all appointments. If we have confirmed a lesson for you, we are turning away other requests for that day and time.
CAN I FOCUS ON MORE THAN ONE DANCE AT A TIME?
All of the dances at the VIVA are interrelated. It is just as easy to learn 3-4 dances as it is to learn 1-2. In most dance situations, you will need to know a variety of steps in a multitude of dances.
DO I NEED A DANCE PARTNER FOR BALLROOM AND LATIN?
Though a partner is recommended, it is not mandatory. There are always others in the class that may not have a partner as well. Our instructors will rotate partners and make sure everyone is able to practice what they have learned with a partner. Our instructors will also pair up with students to make sure that he or she feels comfortable with the moves taught.
